Software Engineer

• Design and implement Duck Creek Policy System solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.• Lead and mentor the technical team in designing, developing, and delivering Duck Creek solutions.• Guide the team on best practices for working with Duck Creek Policy Modules (e.g., Author, Server, Express, Rating, etc.).• Collaborate with business analysts and clients to gather and understand their requirements and deliver effective solutions.• Manage the full policy lifecycle and transactions, including underwriting, billing, and claims.• Ensure integration of Duck Creek systems with other insurance technologies.• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8-13 years of experience.• Strong experience with 6-10 years on Duck Creek Policy system.• Must have minimum 53+ years of experience in team handling.• Candidate should have strong experience on Duck Creek Policy modules.• Good experience in LOBs like Commercial, Personal, Specialty.• Good understanding of underwriting, claims, billing systems• Good experience on Policy lifecycle and various Policy transactions• Expertise working in Author, Server, Express (2&3), Forms, Rating, Batch Processing, Task Creation, Transact, & Address Validation, Transactions, Integrations• Experience in Designing & developing Duck Creek Policy System• Experience in handling & leading team• Good understanding of business, functional requirements and policy workflow of the entire application and project• Understanding the client’s requirement properly and then going for the development in the core areas of DCT• Must have excellent communication skills.• A good understanding of emerging InsurTech technology space.
