About the Role
As a Shift Coordinator, you’ll lead frontline teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality production outcomes. Reporting to the Manufacturing Coordinator, you’ll be the key escalation point on shift, ensuring operations run smoothly while fostering a strong team culture and continuous improvement mindset.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and support shift teams to meet production targets and KPIs
Drive a strong safety-first culture, including incident reporting and investigations
Ensure product quality and compliance standards are consistently met
Coordinate workflows, resources, and materials to optimise efficiency
Coach, mentor, and develop team members
Monitor performance, address issues proactively, and support continuous improvement initiatives
Deliver toolbox talks and promote team engagement initiatives
Oversee shift reporting, documentation, and handovers
What You’ll Bring
3–5 years’ experience in a Team Leader / Supervisor role within manufacturing
Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and operational processes
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
Experience coordinating production schedules and managing workflows
Proficiency in MS Office and production/reporting systems
Desirable:
Certificate III in Frontline Leadership (or similar)
Experience in grains, stockfeed, or agricultural manufacturing
