About the role
The Field Service Technician performs maintenance and troubleshooting of on street hardware, installation and commissioning of hardware, and provides support to customers and projects. You will work as part of a small team, dealing with external customers, working independently, and supporting the Australian business with your technical abilities.
Key responsibilities
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of on street hardware
Installation and commissioning of hardware
Complete tasks in a timely manner adhering to the appropriate SLA's
Update Fault Management Systems
Provide installation and commissioning documentation as and when required
Provide remote telephone support to customers
Prepare and present fault reports
Support project related activities
Support any hardware and software testing
About you
Minimum of two years technical background/experience
Proficient in fault finding and resolution of hardware issues
Evidence of supporting technical projects
Comfortable working outdoors
Proficient in using Microsoft and Google equivalent applications, mainly in PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Excel
A good level of Electromechanical and electronic Hardware knowledge
Must have a valid WA drivers licence
Must be able to provide a police clearance
Must be able to pass a drugs and alcohol test
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a demand-led environment, demonstrating tenacity, self-motivation, adaptability and problem solving skills
