About the role
Arra Group is looking for Business Development Coordinator – First Nations People to join the growing team in a White Collar space
Location: Wangara, Perth
Project Duration: Ongoing - Monday to Friday, 38 hour week
Start date: Immediately
Engagement type: Full time
About the Role:
The role is with an Indigenous-owned civil and electrical contractor based in Wangara, supporting projects across the Resources, Infrastructure, and Defence sectors. It’s a growth-focused position where you’d be working closely with leadership to build client relationships, identify new opportunities, and support tenders and pre-contract activities.
A big part of the role is also shaping Indigenous participation outcomes - developing narratives, supporting local content strategies, and ensuring engagement is meaningful and aligned with community expectations. Experience with Indigenous engagement and applying structured frameworks like IAP2, there’s a strong crossover with what we’re looking for.
It’s a hands-on role with plenty of scope to influence how the business grows and how partnerships are developed.
About you:
Skills and experience required:
3 - 5+ years of experience in business development, sales coordination, account management, or a similar role
Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
Candidates with administration experience also encouraged to apply.
Self-starter with a proactive, results-driven mindset
Ability to obtain a National Police Clearence
MUST hold valid Australian Working Rights
Qualifications / licenses required:
Work Rights
100 points of ID
Police clearance
Drivers licence
In addition to the above requirements, you must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and a drug test.
