This opportunity has arisen as part of a long-term succession plan, with a senior Partner preparing for retirement. The successful candidate will be positioned to take over an established and profitable office with a strong reputation, loyal client base and experienced team already in place.

The Role: 

• Managing and leading a well-established regional office 

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of 10+ accounting professionals 

• Managing a diverse portfolio of business clients across multiple industries 

• Providing strategic taxation, accounting and business advisory services 

• Overseeing complex business structures, taxation matters and financial reporting requirements 

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders 

• Driving business development initiatives and identifying growth opportunities 

• Working closely with senior leadership on strategic planning and operational objectives 

• Contributing to the continued growth and success of the Queensland practice 

• Preparing for future Partnership responsibilities within the firm 

About You: 

• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification 

• 8+ years' experience within Business Services, Taxation or Advisory in a CA or CPA firm 

• Experience at Senior Manager, Director, Associate Director, Principal or Partner level 

• Strong technical accounting and taxation expertise 

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and client portfolios 

• Proven ability to manage complex client groups and business structures 

• Strong business development and relationship management skills 

• Commercially minded with the ability to contribute strategically to business growth 

• Motivated to progress into a Partner-level role within a growing firm
