Experienced Bar Attendant

About the role

Deliver exceptional customer service in all bar operations. Prepare and serve beverages responsibly and efficiently. Maintain a safe, clean and compliant bar environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional service to members, guests and visitors.

• Process sales accurately through POS systems and handle cash in accordance with club procedures.

• Check identification and ensure responsible service of alcohol requirements are met.

• Maintain stock levels, replenish products and assist with stock rotation.

• Prepare, clean and reset bar areas, glassware and service stations.

• Respond to customer enquiries and escalate issues when required.

• Support club promotions, events and functions.

• Comply with the Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements.

• Follow all Club policies, procedures and code of conduct.

• Report maintenance issues, hazards, incidents and near misses promptly.

About you

• Current RSA / RCG competency card.

• Previous experience working in a busy bar, club, hotel or hospitality venue.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.

• Take reasonable care for personal safety and the safety of others.

• Use safe manual handling techniques and approved equipment.
