About the role
Mechanical Fitter | Project Work | Tingalpa | $55/hr + penalties |Permanent
🔍 Opportunity: No two jobs are exactly the same. Work across gearbox rebuilds, fixed plant repairs and custom mechanical projects, with some field service thrown in. Workshop-based, but you'll get out on site when the job requires it.
🎓 Experience: Mechanical Fitter with experience rebuilding gearboxes and working on large industrial plant. Experience with crushers and screens is highly desirable. You can pull something apart, work out what’s wrong and put it back together properly.
💰 Benefits: $55/hr + penalties & overtime, Monday–Friday, 6:30am–2pm, with a direct pathway to permanent.
📞 Extras: WAH and EWP tickets required; forklift is a bonus. Good variety, plenty of hands-on work and a chance to work across different projects rather than being stuck doing the same maintenance job every day.
