General Operational (Open Space Operations) (3 positions)

We are seeking highly motivated people who will be required to assist with the presentation of parks, town centres and open space in the Blue Mountains. The position will undertake general maintenance duties to a high standard including mowing, brush cutting, weeding, planting and litter collection.  The minor maintenance of plant and equipment items (including ride-on mowers, chainsaws, brush cutters) will also be necessary to perform these general maintenance tasks. As the position will be required to work in public places an ability to communicate effectively and politely with colleagues and members of the public is also required.

You will have demonstrated motivation and enthusiasm to provide quality outcomes in parks, town centres and open space settings is essential as is a willingness to adapt to an ever-changing work environment based on customer needs and trends. A commitment to working safely and as part of a dynamic team is also essential.

This position will work full-time hours across 4 days.

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $54,601 gross per annum
 + adverse working conditions allowance of $1,190 gross per annum
 + 12% superannuation 
 + annual performance-based salary increases / bonus (1-3.5%)
 + annual award increase
