About the role
Join Astrid Clinic - a supportive, ethical and holistic healthcare community
Astrid Clinic is a multi award-winning specialty pharmacy and clinic with brick and mortar locations based in South Yarra (Melbourne) and Byron Bay (Northern Rivers), and a National Telehealth Clinic. We focus on medicinal cannabis alongside emerging natural therapies, nutraceuticals, naturopathy and emerging specialty care programs.
Our purpose is simple: to provide thoughtful, whole-body care where patients feel genuinely seen, supported and empowered.
We are currently a telehealth-based clinic, with plans to grow our service offering to include face-to-face consultations, providing patients with greater flexibility and choice in how they access care.
We’re now expanding our clinical team and inviting compassionate, curious, and values-led Doctors to join us.
Our Patients
Our patients have a variety of medical conditions including chronic pain, mental health disorders, insomnia, cancer symptoms etc. As a Medical Practitioner your responsibility will be to assess patient needs and prescribe an appropriate and tailored cannabinoid medicine treatment plan if suitable, complying with Federal and State regulations.
Clinical Support
Dedicated Clinical Support: You’ll have access to nurses, pharmacists, and senior doctors for escalations, case reviews, and guidance across complex presentations.
Ongoing Training & Education: We provide onboarding, structured training, and continuous professional development, with regular case discussions and education sessions.
A Multidisciplinary Ecosystem: You’ll be part of a collaborative team that combines medical, nursing, pharmacy, and naturopathic perspectives to support whole-patient health.
Autonomy & Flexibility: Practitioners are independent with full control over their schedule and location—ideal for those looking to integrate meaningful clinical work into a balanced life.
A Connected, Warm Team Culture: We host regular education days, meet-ups, clinical forums, and team events that strengthen relationships and community.
