The Façade Systems Technical & Compliance Manager for Compressed Fibre Cement (CFC) Cladding is responsible for leading the technical performance, compliance, installation methodology, and product development pipeline, onsite product observations for the company’s CFC cladding portfolio. This role provides expert guidance across engineering design, building code compliance, façade system integration, and onsite installation practices, ensuring products are safe, compliant, competitive, and optimised for market success.
The position collaborates closely with R&D, product management, sales, marketing, and customers to deliver high-quality technical support and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
The Facade Systems Technical & Compliance Manager serves as Fairview’s technical authority for façade and compressed fibre cement (CFC) cladding systems. The role provides expert guidance on product performance, compliance, installation best practices, and quality assurance while supporting customers, contractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
Key responsibilities include maintaining technical documentation, certifications, test reports, specifications, installation manuals, and compliance records; reviewing project drawings and system designs to ensure compliance with NCC/AS standards; identifying technical and installation risks; and providing recommendations to address site issues and improve outcomes.
The role works closely with Sales, Operations, suppliers, consultants, testing laboratories, and regulatory authorities to support project delivery and customer confidence. It also contributes to product development, system improvements, and innovation initiatives by evaluating market trends, customer feedback, and industry requirements.
Additionally, the position delivers technical training, installer support, CPDs, and audits to promote best-practice installation standards and continuous improvement. The role conducts site inspections, investigates product or installation issues, recommends corrective actions, and performs final installation reviews to support warranty approvals and ensure compliance with Fairview’s technical requirements.
