We are seeking a Fleet Allocator to join our Home Delivery Transport Team.

This is a role which will provide a great opportunity for an organised, motivated and hardworking person and if you have worked previously in transport and Fleet Management, this will be an ideal role for you.

Working from our Berrinba site, you will need to: 

• Facilitate communication with our fleet and the customer

• Manage the day to day operational requirements of our fleet  

• Organise routes for the fleet 

• Flex the fleet up / down in response to customer volumes 

• Manage safety and compliance

• Work to key performance indicators

The applicant needs to be able to think outside the box to get the job done right and to be successful in this role it is essential that the applicant: 

• Has own transport 

• A friendly and positive attitude and the ability to work in a team and liaise with a diverse workforce

• Good IT skills - ability to adapt to new technology

• Current knowledge of Chain of Responsibility legislation, including fatigue management

• The ability to effectively plan and organise driver runs

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills

• Strong problem solving ability and attention to detail

On the job training will be provided for the operating systems that are used.
