Mobile Car Detailer | Own Van | $35 per Hour + 12% Super + Commission Structure

Australia's fastest growing detailing company is putting another van on the road, and we want the person driving it.

High Shine Club has been detailing cars across Brisbane since 2023. Three vans out every day, a shop in Salisbury for the heavy work, 250 Google reviews sitting on a perfect 5.0. We are not a two bloke operation with a bucket and a hope. We are a real business that is growing quickly, and we are hiring because there is more work than there are hands.

Here is what the job actually looks like.

You rock up, you get handed a van, and it is yours. Not a shared van. Not whatever is left in the yard. Yours, with your gear in it, set up how you like it. Fuel is on us. You run your own day, you look after your own customers, and you take pride in the fact that every car you hand back is better than the day the owner bought it.

Some days you are mobile, out at houses and workplaces across Brisbane. Some days you are in the shop at Salisbury doing the big jobs, the ceramic coatings, the paint correction, the full interior rebuilds. Variety, not the same driveway on repeat.

What we pay

• $30 an hour while you are learning
• $35 an hour the moment you are trained and running solo
• Commission on top for every job you bring in yourself
• Commission on top again for every extra service you sell on the day

That second one matters, so read it twice. If you spot that a customer's headlights are cactus, or their leather needs a treatment, or the paint is begging for a coating, and you sell it, you get paid on it. Our best guys make good money on the extras alone. There is no cap and no one is going to tell you to stop selling.

Who we are after

Detailing experience is great and it will get you to $35+ faster. It is not the deal breaker though. What we cannot teach is caring about the work. Some of our best people came from trades, from hospitality, from labouring, and they are brilliant because they are fussy and they turn up.

What you do need:

• A current driver's licence and a clean enough record that we can insure you
• To actually show up, on time, every day, without being chased
• To talk to customers like a normal human being
• Eyes that catch the swirl in the paint and the crumbs under the seat before the customer does

Where this goes

Right now we are moving one of our senior detailers off the tools and into the office to help run the business. That seat opened because he was good, and it stayed open because we would rather promote someone who already knows how we work than hire a stranger into it.

The same road is open to you. Detailer, then senior detailer training the new starters, then off the tools entirely if that is what you want. We are growing fast enough that the ceiling keeps moving up before anyone hits it.
