About the role
Lyntel Electronics is a Perth-based electronics manufacturer delivering high-quality, precision-built products across a range of industries. We specialise in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing, producing customised electronic systems that require attention to detail, flexibility, and a commitment to quality.
The Role
We are seeking a hands-on Electronics Assembler to join our production team. This role focuses on the final assembly of electronic products, including the installation of completed PCB assemblies into enclosures, mechanical assembly, cable preparation, testing, and product finishing.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in producing quality products, and can accurately follow assembly documentation and work instructions.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble electronic products using drawings, work instructions, and assembly documentation
Install completed PCB assemblies into enclosures and finished products
Perform mechanical assembly of housings, brackets, hardware, and associated components
Prepare, terminate, and route cables and wiring harnesses
Conduct visual inspections and quality checks throughout the assembly process
Perform functional testing and basic fault identification where required
Maintain accurate production records and traceability documentation
Ensure work is completed in accordance with quality standards and ESD requirements
Support prototype builds and new product introductions
Assist with packing and final preparation of products for shipment
What We're Looking For
Experience in electronics assembly, electrical assembly, or a similar manufacturing environment
Ability to read assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and work instructions
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Experience using hand tools and basic test equipment
Understanding of ESD-safe work practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong quality focus and commitment to workmanship standards
IPC experience or certification is advantageous but not essential
