Dental Assistant - Maven Dental New Farm

At Maven Dental New Farm, no two days are the same. One minute you could be supporting a routine clean, the next you’re assisting with a crown, wisdom tooth removal or implant review.

We’re looking for an experienced full-time Dental Assistant who enjoys variety and wants to build a broad range of chairside skills alongside an experienced and supportive team. Based in the heart of New Farm, you’ll be close to Brisbane CBD, with cafés, shops and free street parking right on your doorstep.

Job Description

Your responsibilities would include:

Providing chairside assistance across general, cosmetic and specialist procedures, from routine cleans to crown preps, whitening and implant reviewsPreparing treatment rooms and instruments ahead of each appointmentMaintaining sterilisation and infection control standards to a high levelSupporting clinicians so appointments run efficiently and patients feel well looked afterEducating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment careAssisting with day-to-day admin using Oasis and MS Office

Qualifications

To be successful in the role you will bring:

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant and/or Certificate III in Dental AssistingConfidence with dental terminology and procedures, and comfortable using dental software such as OasisStrong organisational skills and attention to detail to keep a busy clinic day running smoothlyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuinely patient-focused approachFlexibility to work occasional late nights and alternate Saturdays when required
