A-Double Tipper Truck Driver

About the role:

As a key member of our transport team, you’ll be responsible for safely operating A-Double tipper combinations on regional and interstate routes. This role offers consistent, full-time work with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and teamwork.

You’ll need to be customer focused, flexible with scheduling, and prepared to stay overnight in the truck as required.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ability to operate and look after a K200 Kenworth A-Double combination with manual Road Ranger gearbox

• Completing prestart and other operational checklists and administrative paperwork

• Complying with fatigue management and road rules and regulations

• Complying with mass management as per NHVR guideline

• Uncouple/re-couple A-Double combinations as needed

The successful candidate will:

• Have a current MC Licence with proven A-Double or B-Double tipper experience (essential)

• Be confident operating Road Ranger gearboxes

• Willing to stay in the truck overnight for regional and interstate jobs

• Able to pass a company driver competency test

• Have construction industry white card

• Clean driving record - Ability to supply a current driving record from Service NSW

• Be Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) trained (preferred)

• Have clear communication and work as part of a team.

• Be computer literate – confident with Samsung tablet, truck scales & electronic work diary

• Able to complete a pre-employment medical (including Drug & Alcohol & Fitness to Drive)

• Take pride in their truck – keeps the cab clean and tidy
