Metro Roller Door Service is a growing Australian company specialising in the manufacture, supply, installation and servicing of roller shutter doors.

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing factory in Campbellfield.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong manufacturing experience who can manage production, staff, quality and deadlines while ensuring the factory operates efficiently and safely.

·        Manage the day-to-day production operations of the manufacturing facility

·        Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer and installation deadlines

·        Supervise and support factory staff and allocate daily workloads

·        Monitor production progress and ensure jobs are completed on time

·        Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control

·        Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required specifications

·        Manage stock levels and coordinate material requirements

·        Monitor and minimise material wastage

·        Identify production issues and implement practical solutions

·        Ensure machinery, tools and equipment are maintained and used correctly

·        Ensure all workplace health and safety requirements are followed

·        Maintain a clean, organised and efficient factory environment

·        Work closely with management, purchasing and installation teams

·        Assist with improving production processes and overall factory efficiency

·        Ensure production records and paperwork are kept up to date

The successful candidate will have:

·        Previous experience in a Production Manager, Factory Manager or Manufacturing Supervisor role

·        Experience managing a manufacturing or fabrication environment

·        Strong leadership and people-management skills

·        Excellent organisational and time-management skills

·        The ability to plan and prioritise multiple jobs

·        A strong understanding of quality control and production processes

·        Good problem-solving and communication skills

·        A hands-on approach and willingness to get involved on the factory floor

·        Strong attention to detail

·        The ability to work independently and as part of a team

·        A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

·        Full-time permanent position
