The receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients, greeting visitors, managing incoming calls, and responding to appointment enquiries. Daily tasks include booking and confirming appointments, processing payments, updating patient records, and coordinating schedules for physiotherapists. The role also involves maintaining a tidy reception and waiting area, handling general administrative duties, and assisting with patient forms and referrals. The receptionist will collaborate closely with clinical staff to ensure a smooth, professional client experience and efficient clinic operations.Qualifications Demonstrated customer service skills, including courteous client interaction, clear communication, and a professional phone manner.Experience with reception or front desk duties such as appointment scheduling, payment processing, and managing patient or customer records.Proficiency with basic computer systems and practice or office management software, including email, calendars, and data entry.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail in a busy environment.Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting, respecting confidentiality and following clinic procedures and privacy requirements.Flexible and reliable availability for casual, contract shifts, including the capacity to respond to changing clinic needs.Previous experience in health, allied health, or medical reception is highly regarded but not essential.Relevant training or qualifications in administration, business, or customer service are beneficial.
