Trainee Swimming Pool Technician

Trainee Swimming Pool Technician position exists at our Ramsgate Shop.

We are currently looking for someone who is genuinely interested in the swimming pool industry and making it a career.

On the Job Training Provided. If you have good attention to detail and respect customer service this is the role for you. If you enjoy working in a busy environment and have a strong customer focus - we would love to hear from you. 

What you will be doing

• Testing and balancing pool water to NSW health standards

• Pool cleaning - leaf scooping, brushing, vacuuming of pools.

• Cleaning pool baskets, filters and chlorinator cells.

• Adjusting chlorinator, pump and controller settings.

• Maintenance and cleaning of pool cleaners.

• Recording of service job notes and activities in the company database in a timely manner.

• Equipment repairs and plumbing.

• Installation of new pool equipment & removal of old

• Troubleshooting pool equipment issues and rectifying 

• Interaction with customers on-site

• Unloading and shelf packing of pool salt & chemicals

We are a growing business with an exceptional team. If you are a motivated, hard-working, reliable and physically fit person with exceptional people skills is required for this position. The position will involve some heavy lifting. The applicant must also have a pleasant and confident manner and excellent organizational and time management skills. A high level of customer service skills is necessary. The successful applicant must be reliable, and able to work within a team and good people skills are essential.

A driver’s license is essential for this position.
