Brisbane Diesel is a well‑established mechanical workshop based in Brendale, servicing a wide range of vehicles and equipment across Brisbane's northside. We're a tight‑knit team that values quality workmanship, reliability, and a down‑to‑earth work environment.

We're looking for a trade‑qualified Automotive Mechanic / Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our workshop team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on mechanical work, takes pride in doing the job right the first time, and wants a stable, long‑term position with a great crew.

The Role

This is a full‑time position based primarily in our Brendale workshop, with some field service workas required. You'll be working on a variety of vehicles and equipment, carrying out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and general mechanical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a range of vehicles and workshop equipment.

• Carry out mechanical inspections and identify faults accurately

• Maintain clean, organised, and safe workareas

• Complete job notes and documentation to a high standard

• Support the team to ensure efficient jobturnaround

• Occasional field service work (vehicle provided when required)

What We're Looking For

• Trade‑qualified Automotive Mechanic / Light Vehicle Mechanic

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills and a positive, reliable attitude

• Valid driver's licence

• Experience in a workshop environment preferred
