About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Convenience Store Manager to join our team in Darwin. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for retail, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to lead a small team in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the convenience store, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

• Manage stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and coordinate with suppliers for timely ordering and delivery of goods.

• Lead, train, and roster staff to ensure efficient store operations and high standards of service.

• Handle cash management, banking, and daily reconciliation of sales.

• Implement promotional activities and in-store merchandising to maximise sales.

• Resolve customer queries and complaints in a professional manner.

• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

About You

• Previous experience in retail management, preferably in a convenience store or supermarket environment.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

• Computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and early mornings or late nights as required.

• Current NT Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (or willingness to obtain).
