About The RoleAs a Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time, while keeping everything compliant and running smoothly behind the scenes.You’ll support end-to-end payroll operations across the business, working closely with Finance, People Operations and HRBPs to deliver a reliable and high-quality payroll service. This role sits at the heart of day-to-day operations, balancing accuracy, responsiveness and continuous improvement.It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys detail-focused work, problem solving and being part of a collaborative, supportive team.Responsibilities Include:Manage payroll and MyPay inboxes, responding to queries and escalating where neededProcess payroll changes including new starters, terminations, leave and allowancesEnsure accurate payroll records, trackers and supporting documentation are maintainedSupport superannuation processing, payroll tax and month-end reporting activitiesPrepare employment verifications, reports and payroll-related documentationIdentify opportunities to improve payroll processes and drive efficiency

About You You are detail-oriented, reliable and take pride in getting things right. You enjoy working with data, processes and systems, and have a strong sense of accountability when it comes to accuracy and deadlines.You’re a team player who communicates clearly and works well with others across the business. You’re proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple tasks, while always looking for ways to improve how things are done.What You Will BringExperience in payroll administration or payroll processingStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressureGood communication and organisational skillsKnowledge of payroll systems and Microsoft ExcelUnderstanding of Australian payroll and superannuation requirementsAbility to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively with stakeholders
