Join Our Team as a Trades Assistant / Metalworker!

We’re looking for Trades Assistants and Metalworkers to join a leading manufacturer in the production of RF antennas, coaxial and custom cable assemblies, fibre optic cables, wiring harnesses, and medical wiring. Whether you're just starting out or have some hands-on experience, this is your chance to work with a dynamic team and grow in a fast-paced environment!

About the Role: This hands-on role will see you performing a variety of tasks including drilling, cutting, welding, and fabricating metal products. Prior mechanical experience is desired. Entry-level candidates with a mechanical mindset are encouraged to apply! This is an amazing opportunity to expand your skills in a thriving industry.

Location: Bayswater
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

What You’ll Bring:

To succeed in this role, you’ll have a passion for hands-on work and a solid foundation in the following:

• Practical experience with hand tools, power tools, and air tools

• Practical experience with a drill press and saw machinery

• Comfortability with finishing tools

• A background in manufacturing or fabrication (or a strong desire to learn!)

• Experience with mechanical assembly and reading technical/mechanical drawings

• A keen interest in picking up new skills and techniques

• MIG welding skills are highly desirable but not essential
