Your New Opportunity

As the Heavy Vehicle Dealer Development Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping and strengthening the Penske Commercial Vehicles dealer network across Australia.

Based at our Wacol location, you'll lead the development, governance and continuous improvement of the dealer network, ensuring dealer performance, franchise compliance, network standards and contractual obligations are effectively managed.

Working closely with leaders across Penske Commercial Vehicles, you'll develop and implement network development strategies, assess prospective dealers and help ensure our dealer network continues to meet both business and manufacturer requirements.

You'll also oversee dealer standards, auditing, corporate identification and signage programs, dealer operating reports and performance reviews. A key part of the role will be identifying opportunities for improvement, developing corrective action plans and working with dealers to deliver agreed outcomes against timelines and KPIs.

You'll have the opportunity to influence the ongoing development of our dealer network through market intelligence, competitor analysis, staff development initiatives, business process improvements and effective use of Salesforce.

This is a strategic and influential role where your ability to build relationships, negotiate, analyse performance and bring stakeholders together will directly contribute to the strength and success of Penske's dealer network

About you:

• You'll have strong knowledge of the heavy vehicle industry, combined with experience in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in growing and developing large dealer networks.
• You'll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills will be important, as you'll work with dealers, internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve agreed outcomes.
• You'll have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to assess information and make sound commercial decisions.
• Financial and commercial knowledge will be highly regarded.
• You'll have strong stakeholder and vendor management experience and be confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills are required, with experience using systems such as Salesforce highly regarded.
• A tertiary qualification in Business Management or a similar discipline will be advantageous.
