Site Manager

About the Role

Apex Radiology is seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our clinical and administration staff within South West Health Campus. As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring first-class, efficient imaging services and fostering a culture of high performance and quality care for our patients and referrers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring quality and safety in all imaging services.
• Lead and develop technical service teams across the site, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
• Oversee staff scheduling, leave management, and timesheet approvals to ensure optimal coverage and team welfare.
• Liaise with radiologists, modality supervisors, management, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of patient care before, during, and after examinations.
• Coordinate equipment usage, maintenance, stock control, and capital expenditure planning.
• Produce reports for management and take the lead on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive compliance with work health & safety, company policies, protocols, and relevant legislative requirements.
• Lead staff recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, training, and professional development.
• Ensure ongoing professional education within the team and support staff to maintain competence across all relevant imaging modalities.

About You

Essential criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging.
• Significant experience (10+ years) in radiology/practice environments.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing technical teams in a busy medical practice.
• Strong knowledge and experience with RIS/PACS systems.
• Relevant business or management qualifications and/or experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Highly Desirable:

• Holistic and inclusive leadership style.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
• Willingness to mentor others and participate in ongoing professional development.
