The Technology & Delivery team ensures the sustained health and maintenance of UniSuper’s core systems and platforms - to provide high availability, stability and performance. We remain committed to partner with business units to provide business driven scale and simplification, guidance and delivery of the Enterprise Portfolio and technologies required to enable business capabilities and support the execution of UniSuper’s.

The role

You will be accountable for the overall health and success of the Acurity platform, shaping its long-term strategy, governance and lifecycle management. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to define platform direction, influence investment decisions and improve platform sustainability.  

• Shape the platform strategy and roadmap aligned to business and technology objectives.
• Govern platform policies, standards, engineering practices and technology controls.
• Influence platform investment, lifecycle planning and technical debt remediation.
• Define solution approaches aligned with architecture principles and long-term objectives.
• Advise on vendor performance, product direction and commercial outcomes.
• Sponsor continuous improvement initiatives that improve reliability, resilience and supportability. 

About you

You are an experienced platform specialist with deep expertise in Acurity and enterprise application platforms within highly regulated environments. You apply strong judgement, influence stakeholders effectively and balance immediate business needs with long-term platform sustainability. 

• Significant experience supporting or leading the evolution of the Acurity platform.
• Extensive experience leading platform strategy, governance and lifecycle management.
• Experience developing platform roadmaps, investment plans and modernisation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of risk management, technology governance and lifecycle practices.
• Expert understanding of enterprise application architecture and integration patterns.
• Ability to influence technology decisions and develop capability across teams.
