Electrical S26, Electricians,TA & E&I Technicians | Mining & Oil & Gas | FIFO WA

Boodjara Pty Ltd is recruiting experienced electrical personnel for a number of upcoming Mining, Shutdown and Oil & Gas projects across Western Australia.

We currently have opportunities for S26 Electrical Supervisors, Electricians, Electrical Trade Assistants and E&I Technicians, with mobilisations commencing from 31 August 2026.

Both short-term shutdown and long-term project opportunities are available.

S26 Electrical Supervisors

• Start: 31 August 2026

• Roster: 8/6

• Rate: $100–$120/hr

Electricians

• Start: 8 September 2026

• Rate: $80/hr

Electrical Trade Assistants

• Start: 8 September 2026

• Rate: $60–$65/hr

Due to the short mobilisation timeframe, candidates with current Rio Tinto inductions and previous Rio Tinto experience will be highly regarded.

Electricians

• Start dates: 2 October / 16 October 2026

• Duration: Ongoing until at least March 2027

• Roster: 2/1 FIFO

• 12-hour days

• Long-term project opportunity

Preferred requirements include:

• WA Electrical Licence

• First Aid

• CPR/LVR

• Rio Tinto experience/current inductions

• EWP

• Working at Heights

• Basic Fire

• Duration: Through to June 2027

• Roster: 2/1 FIFO

• Long-term Oil & Gas project

• Casual and permanent opportunities available

Applicants must have strong Oil & Gas experience and current Hazardous Areas qualifications.

• Perform electrical and instrumentation works across Mining, Shutdown and Oil & Gas projects

• Work safely and efficiently within project requirements

• Complete installation, maintenance and shutdown activities as required

• Work FIFO rosters including 2/1 and 8/6, depending on the project

• Work up to 12-hour shifts where applicable

• Comply with all site, client and Boodjara safety requirements

Depending on the role and project, successful applicants will hold relevant qualifications and tickets including:

• WA Electrical Licence

• Current First Aid

• CPR/LVR

• Working at Heights

• EWP

• Basic Fire

• White Card

• Current Driver's Licence

• Rio Tinto experience/current inductions highly regarded

For Pluto Oil & Gas positions:

• WA Unrestricted Electrical Licence

• Current EEHA / Cert IV Hazardous Areas, refreshed within the last 5 years

• Gas Test Atmospheres

• Strong Oil & Gas experience
