Venue Manager – Bondi Junction

Cohort is part of a growing 30+ venue network. We are looking for a switched-on hospo superstar to run our busy Bondi Junction flagship store.

A hands-on role, leading from the front, you will drive sales through excellent customer service whilst using your experience & initiative to manage costs.  

You will work alongside the owners and group ops team to deliver the best product and experience to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and developing the cafe team

• Managing daily operations and service flow

• Rostering and labour management

• Maintaining strong customer service standards

• Stock control, ordering and waste management

• Monitoring sales, labour and COGS targets

• Recruitment, training and performance management

• Maintaining presentation, cleanliness and operational standards

• Working closely with the barista team to ensure coffee quality and consistency

• Building relationships with our regular customers and the local Bondi Junction community

About you

• Minimum 3 years experience leading a team in a cafe, hospitality or similar management role

• Proven experience managing a busy, high volume venue

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Good understanding of rostering labour and cost control

• Coffee knowledge and an understanding of specialty coffee

• A hands on approach and willingness to lead from the floor

• Strong organisational and problem solving skills

• A genuine passion for hospitality, people and customers experience

• Full works rights for 24+ months required
