Milk Crate Theatre is looking for a creative, organised and proactive Marketing & Administration Coordinator to join our team.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves creating engaging content, building audiences and keeping things running behind the scenes. You'll play an important role in connecting our work with the wider community while supporting the day-to-day operations of an award-winning arts organisation creating social change.

Through the power of performance, we build confidence, creativity and connection while challenging perceptions of homelessness, mental health, disability and social disadvantage.
About the roleReporting to the CEO, this permanent part-time role combines marketing, communications and administration. You'll help grow our audiences, strengthen our digital presence and ensure our organisational systems run efficiently.
The role is 0.4-0.6 FTE (15-22.5 hours per week) with flexibility around workdays and hours. Occasional evening and weekend work is required during performances and events.
You'll be responsible forCreating engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTubeManaging eDM campaigns and updating our WordPress websiteDeveloping marketing campaigns for productions, workshops and eventsGrowing audience engagement and digital reachSupporting the CEO and producers with administrationCoordinating meetings, organisational systems and document managementAssisting with grant submissions, fundraising materials and partnership collateralHelping maintain a welcoming, organised and efficient office environment.
About youYou'll be someone who enjoys balancing creativity with organisation and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Ideally, you'll bring:Experience in marketing and communicationsExcellent writing skills and an eye for engaging contentConfidence using Canva and basic video editing softwareExperience managing WordPress websitesStrong administration and organisational skillsExperience with CRM or database systemsThe ability to manage competing priorities and work independentlyA passion for the arts and social impact.
Experience in the not-for-profit or community arts sector is highly regarded but not essential.
