Orange Truck & Ag / Orange Truck Accessories is looking for a skilled Fabricator/Accessory Fitter to join our growing workshop team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys fabrication, custom work and working on a variety of trucks, heavy vehicles and machinery.

You'll work alongside our tradespeople and workshop team on everything from custom truck fit outs and modifications through to brackets, mounts, accessories and general fabrication work.

About the Role

As a Fabricator, you'll be involved in a wide range of fabrication and custom workshop projects.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Fabricating components for trucks, heavy vehicles and machinery

• Fabricating custom brackets, mounts, frames and supports & components

• Assisting with custom truck fit outs and modifications

• Fabricating and fitting truck accessories

• Working with steel, stainless steel and aluminium

• Repairing and modifying existing components

• Fitting and assembling fabricated components

• Ensuring completed work is strong, neat and finished to a high standard

• Maintaining tools, equipment and a clean, safe work area

• General accessory fitting as required

• Following workplace health and safety procedures

This is a varied role with plenty of opportunity to work on custom projects rather than repetitive production-line fabrication.

About You

We're looking for someone who is practical, reliable and takes pride in their workmanship.

What We're Looking For

• A relevant trade background, trade qualification or applicable industry qualification is highly regarded

• Experience in fabrication, welding, boiler making or a similar trade

• Current driver's licence

• Commitment to safe working practices

Experience working with trucks, heavy vehicles, machinery or custom automotive fabrication will be highly regarded.
