About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to customers while supporting warehouse operations, including forklift duties. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of driving, customer service, and warehouse work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and verify delivery stock to ensure vehicle readiness and delivery accuracy.

• Safely transport and deliver goods to a variety of customer locations, ensuring all products arrive on time and in excellent condition.

• Maintain professional driving standards and comply with all road safety regulations.

• Collect and process customer payments when required, ensuring accurate documentation.

• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and return all documentation to the Customer Service team for filing.

• Provide exceptional customer service and act as a professional representative of the company during deliveries.

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring goods are handled with care.

• Assist with general warehouse operations, including forklift operation and inventory handling.

• Work collaboratively with warehouse and customer service teams to support smooth daily operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current and valid driver's licence.

• Previous experience in a delivery driving, transport, or warehouse environment.

• A current forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one).

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage delivery documentation accurately.

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.

• A reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude.

Penalty rates apply for hours that are in the early morning, on weekends, on public holidays, and overtime.
