1st Year Boilermaker/Welder Apprentice

We are seeking a motivated and reliable First Year Apprentice Boilermaker/Welder to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in the metal fabrication and welding industry.

As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople, gaining hands-on experience in fabrication, assembly, welding, and finishing of high-quality manufactured products.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting with fabrication and welding tasks

• Assembly of components using purpose-built jigs

• Using a variety of basic hand and power tools

• Learning welding and fabrication techniques

• Grinding, finishing, and preparing products for final coating

• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a genuine interest in welding and metal fabrication

• Possess good attention to detail and take pride in your work

• Be reliable, punctual, and eager to learn

• Be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Have experience using basic hand tools

• A nationally recognised Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker/Welder)

• On-the-job training with experienced tradespeople

• A supportive team environment
