As we head into our busy season, Stokehouse Restaurant and Stokehouse Pasta & Bar are looking for passionate Floor Staff and Bartenders to join our team.

Set on the stunning St Kilda foreshore, Stokehouse offers the opportunity to work in one of Melbourne's most recognised hospitality destinations, whether that's delivering elevated dining experiences upstairs at Stokehouse Restaurant, or bringing the energy and fun downstairs at Stokehouse Pasta & Bar.

Stokehouse Restaurant

Our award-winning restaurant offers a relaxed fine dining experience, combining exceptional food, refined cocktails, an outstanding wine program, and genuine hospitality. Here, service is polished, professional and detail-focused, creating memorable experiences for every guest.

Stokehouse Pasta & Bar

Located downstairs, Pasta & Bar is vibrant, energetic and buzzing venue. It's all about great food, coastal vibes, approachable service and high-volume trade. Fast-paced, fun and always moving, it's perfect for hospitality professionals who love action.

Floor Staff

We're looking for experienced hospitality professionals who genuinely enjoy looking after guests and creating memorable dining experiences.

You'll be:

• Delivering exceptional food and beverage service

• Building rapport with guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere

• Working collaboratively within a high-performing team

• Maintaining service standards during busy periods

• Learning and developing your food, wine and beverage knowledge

The ideal candidate:

• Has previous restaurant experience (minimum 1 year preferred)

• Is confident in busy service environments

• Has strong communication skills

• Brings positive energy and a team-first attitude

• Takes pride in delivering outstanding guest experiences

Bartenders

Whether your passion is premium cocktails and wine service or high-energy volume service, we have opportunities across both venues.

At Stokehouse Restaurant:

You'll work within a premium dining environment serving refined cocktails, premium spirits and an award-winning wine list. Ideal for bartenders wanting to develop their knowledge and work alongside experienced hospitality professionals.

At Stokehouse Pasta & Bar:

You'll be at the heart of a fast-moving bar operation, serving seasonal cocktails, beers, wines and beachside favourites in a lively and energetic setting.

The ideal candidate:

• Has previous bartending experience

• Understands quality beverage service and guest engagement

• Works efficiently under pressure

• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Loves hospitality and creating great guest experiences

Requirements

• Current Australian work rights

• Minimum 1 year restaurant or hospitality experience
