About the role
We are seeking a reliable Trades Assistant to support our Capella workshop operations. This role involves assisting boilermakers, supporting fabrication activities and helping with abrasive blasting and painting of fabricated items, as well as general workshop and yard duties to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
This is a permanent, full‑time position with consistent hours, offering long‑term stability for the right candidate.
This role is open to Australian citizens and permanent residents only. Visa holders and sponsorship applicants will not be considered.
Essential:
Physically fit and capable of manual work
Reliable, safety‑focused and hands‑on
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Current manual driver’s licence
Desirable (but not essential):
Forklift licence
Experience in abrasive blasting
Previous workshop or industrial experience
Competitive full time wages based on experience
Consistent days shifts and ongoing work
Transport assistance available for nearby town residents
