Reporting to the Branch Manager, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Counter Sales person to join our team.

This is a customer-facing role where sales experience, quotation preparation and follow-up, electrical product knowledge, and outstanding customer service skills are key priorities. You will play an important role in building strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, providing technical product advice and delivering excellent service every day.

We are looking for someone who is customer-focused, commercially minded, open to learning and committed to developing their career within the electrical wholesale industry.

• Providing exceptional customer service both face-to-face and over the phone
• Counter sales and proactive customer development
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Preparing quotations and following up sales opportunities
• Providing product advice and technical support to customers
• Following up and providing notification of outstanding orders
• Maintaining a professional store presentation
• Assisting with receipt and dispatch of products
• Picking, packing and delivering customer orders
• Stock management including purchasing and inventory control
• Complying with company and customer QHSE standards and policies
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

• Previous experience in sales, preferably within electrical wholesale or a similar industry
• Strong quotation preparation and follow-up skills
• Sound product knowledge, ideally within electrical products and solutions
• Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to identify sales opportunities and deliver customer-focused outcomes
• Competent PC skills
• Professional personal presentation
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

Electrical wholesale industry experience is preferred, along with a can-do attitude.

A forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
