Operations and Stylist Assistant

About the role

Platinum Property Styling is looking for a motivated and adaptable person to join our team in a newly created role based in Golden Grove.

There won't necessarily be a typical day in this position. Depending on the needs of the business, you may be assisting stylists with preparing and styling properties, helping installation teams with furniture and décor installs and collections, preparing and making bedding for upcoming jobs, assisting with loading, unloading and preparing stock, helping keep the warehouse organised and ready for upcoming jobs, supporting the office team with general administration and business tasks, or helping across other areas of the business when an extra pair of hands is needed.

Styling will form an important part of the role, but you'll be equally comfortable helping in the warehouse, on an install or in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting stylists with preparing and styling properties

• Helping installation teams with furniture and décor installs and collections

• Preparing and making bedding for upcoming jobs

• Assisting with loading, unloading and preparing stock

• Helping keep the warehouse organised and ready for upcoming jobs

• Supporting the office team with general administration and business tasks

• Helping across other areas of the business when an extra pair of hands is needed

About you

• Enjoys variety and doesn't need every day to look the same

• Has a genuine interest in interiors, home styling or property presentation

• Is reliable, organised and willing to learn

• Has a positive attitude and works well as part of a team

• Is happy to get involved wherever support is needed

• Is comfortable working both independently and alongside different team members

• Takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail

• Is comfortable in a role that includes both hands-on and office-based work

• Comfortable with carrying and moving furniture and décor, loading and unloading items, working in a warehouse environment, assisting with property installations and collections, and moving between different types of work throughout the day

• Has a current driver's licence and reliable transport to Golden Grove base
