About the role

• Support the Restaurant General Manager with the day-to-day running of the restaurant.
• Lead, coach and motivate a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Manage restaurant operations including shift management, rostering and team performance.
• Drive sales, labour efficiency and operational KPIs.
• Monitor stock levels, inventory and ordering.
• Maintain high food safety, cleanliness and workplace safety standards.
• Recruit, train and develop crew members and shift leaders.
• Build a positive team culture and strong relationships within the local community.

About you

• Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, Shift Manager or Team Leader.
• Experience in hospitality, fast food, QSR or retail management.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and workplace safety requirements.
• Current Food Safety Certificate (preferred).
• Requires bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting (up to 10 kilograms, as necessary)
• Ability to travel to other restaurants, meeting venues, etc.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
