Chisholm is seeking an experienced and student-focused Teacher to teach our IT courses. Part time, fixed term position on offer.

About The Role
As a teacher, IT and Cybersecurity, in the Business & IT Area, your key responsibilities include:
Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learnersDevelop and deliver planned teaching sessions in a variety of innovative and adaptive ways, using technology, including Moodle, to engage learners and meet their needs and learning stylesEstablish and maintain a positive learning environment, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learningAdapt learning and assessment materials to cater for different students, learning environments, facilities, and resourcesUndertake a range of administrative, coordination, and learning services activities directly related to the areas taughtEnsure high quality, up to date and relevant teaching delivery, assessment and student engagement strategies to support learner success and contribute to the achievement of shared Chisholm goalsMaintain a respectful, and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment
About You
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.
Qualifications Required For The Role
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or qualifications that meet the Standards for RTOs 2015A Relevant or Equivalent Industry VET Qualification(s) in any of the following: (relevant to your position application) UEE20520 Computer Assembly and Repair ICT30120 Information Technology ICT40120 Information Technology 22603VIC Cert IV in Cyber ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology (Database and/or Cloud Computing and/or Artificial Intelligence specialisation preferred) 22589VIC Emerging TechnologiesRegistration with relevant professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliverA record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge
