SDN Randwick Centre is currently seeking a qualified Certificate III Float Educator to join our centre in a Permanent Part Time capacity – working across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 32 hours per week across 4 days. Our light filled modern centre is an oasis in the local community.  

About The Role

This will include:

• Build nurturing, positive relationships with children and support their emotional wellbeing
• Guide positive behaviour and encourage children’s independence and decision-making
• Create engaging, inclusive environments that support all areas of development
• Support daily routines, including meals, toileting, and responding to individual needs
• Assist with observing, documenting, and supporting children’s learning and healthy habits

About you

To be successful, you will be:

• Certificate III qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care
• 12 months - 2 years of relevant work experience in Early Childhood Education
• Working with Children Check and current Senior First Aid qualification, Child protection training and commitment to child safety
• Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
• A compassionate, patient, and dedicated individual who genuinely enjoys working with children.
• Able to create and maintain a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for children.
• A good team player who thrives in a collaborative setting, need to be proactive and takes on new initiatives in a new room.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration
