G&A Glass & Aluminium is a well-established glazing and aluminium fabrication business based in Townsville, known for quality workmanship across residential and commercial projects. We've recently qualified an apprentice, and are promoting two manufacturing staff to other roles.

First Year Apprentice Role:

We're growing our team and looking for a First-Year Apprentice to start their trade with us.

Key responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of glazing and aluminium fabrication under experienced tradespeople

• Assist with cutting, assembling, and installing windows, doors, and glazing products

• Support the manufacturing team in the workshop

• Maintain a clean, safe workshop environment

• Attend TAFE in Brisbane as part of apprenticeship

About you

• A genuine interest in a trade career in glazing/aluminium fabrication

• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

• A valid manual driver's license

• Good attention to detail and pride in quality work

• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team

• Strong work ethic

• No experience necessary for apprentice role, full training provided

Manufacture Role:

Due to career progression within our own team, we're looking for reliable manufacturing staff to join our workshop team producing windows, doors, and aluminium glazing products for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, assemble, and fabricate aluminium window and door frames - Capral products

• Glaze units to quality standards

• Work as part of a team to meet production schedules

• Maintain a clean, safe workshop environment

About You

• Experience in glazing and aluminium fabrication

• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in quality work

• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team

• Reliable with a strong work ethic

• Forklift license (advantageous, not essential)
