About the role
The Adelaide Production & Treatment Alliance (P&T Alliance), a partnership between SA Water and SUEZ, is seeking an experienced Electrical Team Leader to lead maintenance activities at Glenelg Wastewater Treatment Plant and other southern metro sites.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll lead electricians and contractors to ensure critical assets are maintained safely, efficiently and reliably while driving continuous improvement across the operation.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead planned and reactive electrical maintenance activities.
Supervise, coach and develop electricians and apprentices.
Provide technical support across PLC, SCADA and control systems.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site standards.
Coordinate contractors and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
Support maintenance planning, reporting and reliability improvement initiatives.
Electrical Trade Qualification and unrestricted Electrical Licence.
Experience leading teams in industrial, utilities, manufacturing or maintenance environments.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, VSDs, PLCs (Allen Bradley/Siemens) and SCADA.
Experience with Maximo, SAP or similar CMMS platforms.
Strong troubleshooting, planning and communication skills.
Current unrestricted driver's licence.
Desirable:
Certificate III in Water Operations.
HV Switching Operations.
Instrumentation and PLC experience.
Experience in wastewater, water treatment or heavy industrial facilities.
Leadership and/or safety qualifications.
