You won't be sitting several layers beneath the people who make decisions. You'll work directly with exploration managers, directors, project owners and investors — the people responsible for strategy, project development and capital allocation. As we grow, the people who join now will help shape how we work and where we go. That kind of exposure accelerates your career in a way a big company structure simply can't.

You'll also see the whole picture: not just drilling the hole and logging the core, but which targets get drilled, which projects get funded, which risks matter, and how geological data turns into commercial decisions. We'll back you to build the commercial skills — strategy, planning, budgets, client engagement — that most geologists never get near.

What you'd actually do

Depending on experience: planning and running drilling programmes, RC and diamond core logging, mapping and sampling, exploration targeting, interpretation and modelling, resource development and grade control support, contractor coordination, technical reporting and client engagement. Senior candidates may lead projects, set exploration strategy, mentor juniors, manage budgets and drive improvements.

Who this suits

• A degree in Geology or Geoscience, with exploration and/or mining experience

• Drilling programme experience and strong interpretation skills

• Leapfrog, Micromine, Vulcan or similar

• Someone who takes ownership of outcomes and communicates well
