About the role:

Join the team at BaptistCare Yallambee, a 40-bed residential aged care facility, where you’ll play an important role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents.

As a Cleaner, you’ll be responsible for maintaining resident rooms and communal areas, completing laundry duties, restocking supplies and assisting with everyday household routines. You’ll work alongside the care team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control while ensuring residents feel comfortable and at home.

This is a practical, hands-on role where the work you do each day makes a genuine difference to the wellbeing and experience of our residents.

Roster:

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–1:00pm

About You

You bring a genuine commitment to supporting older people with dignity and respect. You enjoy working in a team and building meaningful relationships with residents, families and colleagues.

You will have:

• Previous experience with food handling, cleaning and chemical use
• Ability to manage a busy, physically demanding workload
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Genuine empathy and enjoyment of working with older people
• Team‑focused, customer‑centric approach
• Understanding of Occupational Safety and Health principles
• Alignment with BaptistCare values and Love to See behaviours
• Previous experience in a similar role (highly regarded)
