About the role

Support our Operations Director with the management and growth of the business, solicit and manage client instructions, and undertake engineering analysis and design assignments. You will be part of the senior leadership team.

Your other responsibilities will include:

• Day to day management of engineering assignments to ensure timely and professional delivery

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients

• Periodic interstate travel to support client requirements or business growth opportunities

• Professional signatory for engineering certifications where required

• Ensure all activities comply with Woolacotts' H & S Management Policies

• Ensure client billing and payment receipt.

• P&L project reporting

To be successful you must have the following:

• Degree in Engineering with at least 10 years relevant experience

• Professional Development: NPER, RPEQ, CP Eng, MIE Aust

• Demonstrable experience in business lead instigation and delivery

• Commercial acumen

• Working knowledge of Australian Standards

• Experience in managing internal/external resources in delivery

• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written

• Self motivated, confident, energetic and creative

• Software familiarity-RAPT,RAM Concept, BIM, ETABS, Space Gas

• Strong organization and time management skills

• Be proactive and driven with strong business acumen

• Ability to work independently and as part of the team
