Hardware Technician

Conphone Pty Ltd trading as Casphone We are seeking an experienced Hardware Technician to join our team. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and testing computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets and other electronic devices.

Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software faults. Repair and replace faulty hardware components. Install, configure and test hardware, operating systems, drivers and firmware.

Perform advanced diagnostics and component-level repairs where required. Conduct pre- and post-repair testing and quality control. Configure devices and peripheral equipment.

Maintain accurate repair and diagnostic records. Provide technical advice and recommend appropriate repair solutions. Follow data security, WHS and company procedures.

Requirements: 1–2 years of relevant experience in hardware repair, IT technical support, or a related technical role. Certificate or Diploma in Hardware Repair, IT Technical Support, or a related field. Strong hardware diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Experience repairing computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets and other electronic devices. Microsoldering and component-level repair experience is highly regarded. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
