The RoleAs a BIM Technician, you’ll support the delivery of prefabricated and structural design projects, working closely with structural, mechanical and electrical teams and architects to ensure seamless coordination.This role is based at our Sydney office with hybrid working arrangements available.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduce high-quality structural drafting for prefabrication and design projectsCoordinate our BIM models with multiple other disciplinesBuild client demand for BIM services by engaging proactively with external stakeholdersDevelop analytical models in Revit and interface with structural design softwarePrepare detailed drawings for concrete, steel, timber and masonryManage drawing packages to meet project requirementsWork within the team to build and maintain parametric families and BIM librariesImprove workflows and drafting efficiencyTroubleshoot design and modelling issues
About YouDiploma in Design, Engineering or related fieldUnderstanding of Australian standardsPrevious BIM experienceStrong proficiency in Revit, cloud-based modelling experience is a plusExposure to mechanical pipework, structural steel and fabrication detailing (advantageous)Strong attention to detail and excellent computer literacyAbility to prioritise and manage multiple tasksCollaborative communication style and a positive, proactive attitudeWillingness to learn Inventor (experience highly regarded)Interest in collaboration tools such as Navis and Revizto
