Executive Director, People & Culture

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of People and Culture to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the organization's people strategy. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for fostering a high-performing culture, and ensuring workforce capability, leadership, and organizational effectiveness. This role is at the forefront of the company's evolution, with a focus on driving refinement, modernization, and strategic lift in people, systems, and organizational maturity.

Key priorities include strengthening workforce planning and recruitment, enhancing learning and development opportunities, and leading the implementation of new HRIS. The Executive Director will also provide leadership in organizational development, employee relations, enterprise bargaining, and ensure that people practices are contemporary, effective, and aligned with the company's future needs. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should be experienced People and Culture executives with a proven track record in leading strategic people initiatives within complex, values-driven organizations.

The role requires expertise in workforce planning, organizational development, employee relations, and culture and change management. The ideal candidate will be warm, credible, and relationship-oriented, capable of influencing constructively and leading with empathy and sound judgment. While experience in an independent school environment is highly regarded, candidates from other purpose-led sectors such as universities and healthcare are also encouraged to apply.
