Qualified Carpenter or Leading Hand

Phoenix CDS is a long standing, award winning construction company based in Hobart, Tasmania. Working on small to medium commercial projects, high end residential new builds and renovations throughout Southern Tasmania.

About the Role

Due to commencement of a number of exciting large scale projects, we are seeking an experienced, passionate tradesperson or leading hand to join our growing team to assist in delivery of an increasing pipeline of exciting projects around Hobart.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand & action day-to-day site works.

• Coordinate works with subcontractors and trades

• Read and interpret construction plans

• Maintain workmanship and site safety

• Ability to work autonomously or under a Site/Project Manager.

• Communicate professionally with clients and suppliers

About You

You are motivated, organised, punctual, forward thinking and take pride in producing quality work.

You enjoy working within a close team, solving problems, and maintaining high standards on every project outcome.

Essential

• Qualified Carpenter

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Current White Card

• Current Driver's Licence

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desired

• Previous dogging or rigging experience with appropriate ticket.

• Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Scaffolding ticket.

• Previous Leading Hand or Foreman experience, if applying for Leading Hand.
