Customer Service Agent

Based in Milton, you will provide support for our customers in relation to orders and general enquiries. Working within our busy Customer Service Centre, you'll play a key role in ensuring orders are accurately processed and delivered on time.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity working on a monthly rotating roster, with shift start and finish times between 5:30am and 4:45pm Monday to Friday. Rotating Saturday roster between 530am to 12pm.

Your day will involve:

• Receiving customer orders and entering them into our systems accurately and efficiently (with training provided)
• Monitor progress of deliveries and provide delivery status information to the customer, using vehicle tracking systems
• Understand production capabilities of the Boral plant and truck network
• Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Working collaboratively with operational teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes

What are we looking for?

• A reliable, professional team player who enjoys working alongside colleagues in the office
• Experience in a customer service environment
• Contact centre or call centre experience will be highly regarded
• Exposure to the construction, building materials, logistics, or a related industry is advantageous
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• High attention to detail and confidence using computer systems
• A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
