About the role
Join Melbourne River Cruises as a Master 5/MED 3 Captain. Based in Melbourne, you'll operate our diverse fleet of 7 vessels, including our renowned floating restaurant, The Spirit of Melbourne.
Key responsibilities
Navigate daily tourism routes on the Yarra River and bay to Williamstown
Conduct day and evening functions with precision and professionalism
Be available for both day and evening shifts as required
Ensure the safety and satisfaction of passengers through exceptional service
Adapt to varying vessel specifications and requirements
Flexibility to adapt to varying vessel specifications and requirements.
About you
Master 5/MED 3 certification with current AMSA accreditation
LK19 & LK18 certification preferred or willingness to obtain promptly
LK19 & LK18 certifications must be obtained within 1 month if not already held
Must be living in Melbourne
Hospitality or tourism experience advantageous
Australian work rights essential
