We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager with a background in Workers Compensation and Compulsory Third-Party Insurance.

Job DescriptionAs part of our high‑performing Customer Team, you’ll work alongside passionate colleagues across operations, product, and commercial teams to shape solutions that make a genuine difference. You’ll be the key strategic partner for a portfolio of national personal injury insurer clients, building deep, long-lasting relationships and driving growth through trust, insight and exceptional service.This role will be based in Melbourne and is perfect for someone who enjoys thinking commercially, engaging strategically, and working with a business that backs fresh ideas and continuous improvement.
What You Will Be DoingBuild strong, meaningful partnerships with national insurance clients in workers compensation and CTPLead the account strategy — from stakeholder mapping and relationship building through to planning, reviews, proposals and insightsIdentify opportunities to grow revenue through intelligent cross‑sell, up‑sell and solution design across both UHG and the broader MedHealth GroupBring a strong commercial mindset to negotiations and contract discussionsUse data, customer insights and market intelligence to influence decisions and drive customer successChampion innovation by collaborating with our internal teams to evolve products and improve service offeringsAct as the voice of the customer, ensuring alignment between expectations, service delivery and performanceRepresent UHG at industry events, customer site visits and national forums (with occasional interstate travel)
QualificationsWhat You Should HaveDemonstrated experience working within the personal injury insurance sector including workers compensation and/or compulsory third party (highly desirable)3+ years working in an account management functionDemonstrated capacity to retain and grow existing customer revenue, and identifying new business opportunitiesAbility to effectively communicate with customer leaders of various levelsComputer literate especially with the Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Word, Excel & PowerPointCustomer focus by providing timely and professional interactions with internal and external stakeholdersAble to work autonomously while also a strong team player with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholdersExcellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and targetsAttention to detailExcellent written and oral communication skillsDemonstrate sound problem-solving skillsA full position description is available from hrhealthbusinesssolutions@medhealth.com.au
